WTAPS Reunites with Oakley for a Motorcross Inspired Capsule Collection
Continuing their collaborative efforts once again, WTAPS is reuniting with the sunshine-loving label of Oakley for both protective eyewear and accompanying apparel.
What results is a mixture of the militaristic with an aesthetic fitting of the California-based label, utilizing notable elements of both in a way that loses nothing in terms of identity. The Latch Key Glasses, though more contemporary in its use of tortoise and orange-tinted lenses, features the Japanese label’s standard logo alongside coordinates that lead to a sequestered corner of Shibuya. Keys Jackets offer up simplistic shell design — seen below in both olive drab and black — which coincide with the matching trousers for an armored suit of Ripstop construction. Graphic apparel don co-branded prints with a motorcross mask acting as the central motif.
Check out the full range and the accompanying video below which is slated for a release this upcoming Saturday, March 9th at the GIP store.
