MOTH Launches its Latest Collection 'Secret War'
MOTH has launched its latest collection titled ‘Secret War’, an exploration of digital dystopia, surrealism, and the growing relationship between humanity and technology.
Drawing on sci-fi uniforms and surrealist imagery, MOTH Studio develops silhouettes that balance technical construction with sculptural pattern-cutting. The collection combines cyber aesthetics with traditional Chinese craft techniques, using Morse code graphics, fabric washing, dyeing processes and cross-stitch embroidery to create both futuristic and tactile garments. Throughout the collection, flat surfaces are manipulated into three-dimensional forms through unconventional dart placements, claw-shaped side panels and engineered seam structures. Four key styles emerge from this process, including the TL Jacket, a water-repellent wool jacket; the Claw Pant, a futuristic pant with claw-shaped panels; the Kamen Rider Jacket, a lightweight nylon jacket inspired by Kamen Rider and futuristic protective uniforms; and the Pixel Rain Tote, a large canvas tote bag with leather handles.
