Gramicci Celebrates 1 Year of its Harajuku Store by Collaborating with Converse on the All Star J

A year after its Harajuku store opened, Gramicci is marking the occasion by collaborating with Converse on a Made in Japan All Star J.

Embodying Gramicci’s brand spirit and respect for nature, the All Star J, arriving in a hem construction, is a fitting choice for collaboration. A nostalgic silhouette from the 1980s, last used around the time Gramicci was founded, brought back to life using Japanese craftsmanship. Here, the upper is made of washed Japanese hemp-blend denim, which has a dry, natural texture that ages beautifully, breathing new life into this classic silhouette. Collaborative callouts are tucked away on the inside tongue and footbed, while a hemp tag adorns both heels, reminding us of the shoes materiality. The All Star J arrives with two sets of laces: dark navy or white.
