WTAPS Enters the Jiu-Jitsu Realm with Their Take on the Shoyoroll Kimono
Tetsu Nishiyama’s WTAPS has always been synonymous with high quality goods wherever it goes, ranging from its military-inspired garments to its collaborative footwear collections. Never shy of entering new realms, WTAPS has created a kimono uniform for Shoyoroll, a well-respected global martial arts brand that provides superior products respected by both professionals and amateurs.
Motivated by the philosophy behind the Jiu-Jitsu art form, WTAPS introduces three Shoyoroll uniforms coming in black, blue, and olive drab colorways with three parts each: a kimono top, a gi bottom, and a drawstring bag for everyday carry. The top features bold graphics throughout with co-branded logos on the front, WTVUA and thunderbolt designs on the sleeves, and WTAPS iconic crossbone on the back. Meanwhile, the bottoms utilize drawstring at the waist with bold WTAPS iconography on the rear while the bag prints typography from past WTAPS “Way of Life” designs.
Check out the latest feature at WTAPS and stay tuned for its release on February 6 at WTAPS and Shoyoroll.
