Body of Work and Mephisto Release their Latest Take on the 'Match' Silhouette
Following their inaugural collaboration, where they tackled the same silhouette, Body of Work and Mephisto revisit the ‘Match’ for Spring/Summer ‘26.
Handcrafted in Sarrebourg, France, by skilled artisans, the Match symbolises Body of Work and Mephisto’s shared appreciation for functionality, craftsmanship, and timeless design. Each pair is brought to life through a process involving 160 precise steps performed by 18 expert craftspeople, who train for over three years before crafting their first pair. Arriving in two colourways, Thyme & Black, the Match is made from Italian suede on the uppers, accented by an entirely black rubber outsole achieved with custom injection moulding - a first for the Match. Moving inside, the interior is lined with full-grain black leather and the tongue is embossed subtly with the Body of Work logo.
