F/CE. Reinterprets the Whiplash Curve into Functional Apparel for Spring/Summer '26
After previewing its Spring/Summer ‘26 collection at Spaces Agency during Paris Fashion Week, F/CE. has given us a full look at the range.
Titled ‘Whiplash’, F/CE. channels its interpretation of the iconic whiplash curve, a defining motif of Art Nouveau, into functional clothing. Mirroring this, the range is defined by three-dimensional structures and asymmetric patterning inspired by the organic forms of the natural world, contrasted by technical functionality and architectural construction. This manifests in an ensemble of outerwear, from zip-up windbreakers to overcoats; shirting that features technical chest pockets and classic checkered prints; flowy, oversized trousers; lightweight pullovers, and more. Select outerwear styles are decorated with signature features like d-ring clips. The majority of the collection is constructed using technical materials, with the exception of argyle knitwear. To complement the apparel and accessories, F/CE. serves up a consecutive project with Suicoke on a sandal featuring two straps locking the foot down, a heel strap, and an open-toe design.
