Porter Yoshida Celebrates its 90th Anniversary at WORDS SOUNDS COLORS & SHAPES Concept Store
From the 24th of June to the 5th of October, Porter Yoshida celebrates its 90th anniversary at WORDS SOUNDS COLORS & SHAPES, honouring the Japanese label’s enduring legacy that blends innovation with tradition.
This collaboration marks a meeting of two creative forces. A celebration not only of heritage, but of the evolving dialogue between form, function, and meaning. At the heart of the installation, which is housed inside a bespoke Porter shelter, is the Tanker Coyote line, made using 100% plant-based nylon developed in collaboration with Toray Industries and Ramdane Touhami. This offering includes signature pieces, such as the Sling Bag, Roll Bag, Helmet Bag, Daypack, Envelope Bag, Hip Bag, and Square Tote Bag. Signature design motifs are realised in physical form, such as painted orange shelving, orange linings, and bags incorporated into the display structure.
