Song for the Mute Releases 'TOWARD KINDRED LIGHT' Apparel Capsule
Song for the Mute and Dev Alexander have come together on ‘TOWARD KINDRED LIGHT’, an apparel capsule revisiting key silhouettes and refined fabrications from The Kid Laroi’s touring wardrobe.
The resulting ensemble consists of the Hooded Denim Jacket, a hybrid jacket that reimagines the layered look of a hoodie beneath a denim jacket; the Denim Wide Leg Pant, based on a foundational Song for the Mute silhouette; and the Oversized Jersey Tee, returning in a heavyweight Japanese jersey material that holds its structure and form, creating a strong silhouette. The pieces carry a quiet sense of imperfection through worn-in fabrics and contrasting textural overlays. Each style is available in a choice of three colours: khaki, black, or white.
Directed by Cai Fox Leplaw, the campaign unfolds across quiet, open spaces where bodies slip in and out of view, gathering, dispersing and returning again. Each sequence holds a low, charged tension, balancing between the familiar and the uncanny, revealing the collection through shifting gestures and lingering pauses.
