Goldwin and _J.L-A.L_ Continue their Shared Dialogue into Fall/Winter '25

Off the back of its recent project with Commes des Garçons Homme, Goldwin is proving it’s a top-tier collaborator and Japanese powerhouse, enlisting the technical expertise of _J.L-A.L_ in the duo’s consecutive capsule.

Continuing their exploration of form and functionality, Goldwin and _J.L-A.L_ unveil their second collaboration collection, creating four pieces: a Down Jacket, Cargo Trousers, Fleece Jacket, and the Dolman T-Shirt. Starting with the Down Jacket, stitch lines and fabric transitions appear to dissolve midway across the surface, creating an abstract interplay of texture and volume. Around the hood, delicate shirring adds movement and tension, while the minimalist cuffs embody the quiet precision of technical apparel design. A fleece jacket further expands this dialogue between craftsmanship and innovation. The piece is crafted from a next-generation boa fleece material that combines Brewed Protein™ and silk fur with a plant-derived biomass-based plastic, PlaX. The Cargo Trousers are a continuation of previous collaborative efforts, offering a technical and nuanced take on a classic silhouette. Rounding off the capsule is the Dolman T-Shirt, executed in a minimalist form with signature pattern-cutting and innovative thinking.
