DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN Autumn/Winter '22
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN has unveiled its upcoming Autumn/Winter ‘22 collection which celebrates signature styles in the pursuit of comfort and functionality.
Looking back on the styles and silhouettes that have come to define DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN, the collection is broken down into Mizusawa Down, Shell Jackets and FUSIONKNIT all of which seem to cover any clothing demand the wearer has, from warmth to shelter and comfort.
Speaking on the latter that is FUSIONKNIT, DESCENTE’s foray into creating athletic garments that prioritise comfort and movement, we see the Reversible Hoodie, Collarless L/S Shirt and Bottoms incorporating functional technologies such as Supersonic Seam Taping and Performa Cut enhancing the wearer’s experience whilst still wearing what has long been considered an age-old garment: knitwear.
Designed to shield the wearer from outside interference, the Mizusawa Down range seeks to combine insulating and waterproof properties with detail-heavy outerwear. For example, the Mountaineer Jacket epitomises that whilst incorporating HEAT NAVI technology and a Parahood system as well as finishes like adjustability and laminated zippers. Other styles include the Anchor, GORE-TEX Ambit and Chronicle, to name but a few that make the most of technical specifications like pit-zip ventilation, Block-Fit adjusters and reflective seam taping. Shell Jackets round off the outerwear offering boasting GORE-TEX Paclite constructions and HUMOFIT linings which help to enhance their performance and protect the wearer. Some of those styles include the Active Shell Jacket, ‘Wiser’ Hard Shell Jacket and the 5-Ways All-Weather Coat: a flagship piece for Autumn/Winter ‘22 that is equipped with technical details aplenty.
The collection is due to launch from retailers like Browns in late September.
