ANREALAGE and doublet Turn Care Tags Into Oversized Scarves for Midwest's 15th Anniversary

A collaboration long overdue, LVMH prize winner doublet and finalist ANREALAGE are finally coming together for a small team effort of their own. With styles near resemblant of each other in eccentricity, the imprints are set to release a capsule of exclusive goods in honor of Midwest Tokyo’s upcoming 15th anniversary.

Motifs from Masayuki Ino’s many accessories are back once more, rethinking his oversized and denotative scarf designs and dialing it up to ten with Kunihiko Morinaga providing the bass. Its constructions, which are composed of 78% wool and 22% polyester as stated, provide utility for the current weather conditions in a framing that borrows half from both up-and-coming designers in a somewhat blunt “REVERSIBLE BIG TAG MUFFLER” dubbing. On one side, Morinaga adds his type logo squared in by a white box along a backdrop of dark dye, a fittingly simple alternative for people who may favor to lie on the low. On the reverse, however, Ino turns what would be an ordinary care tag into the main presentation with materials, instructions, country of origin, and trademarks all listed against white. The duo also prepared a mystery ball tee which will coincide with the rest of the drop.

Take a look at the upcoming accessory here and find it rolling out with the compressed ball t-shirt on November 23rd exclusively at Midwest Tokyo.
