Merrell 1TRL Showcases its Agility Peak 6 in Coastal Currents Editorial
For Autumn/Winter ‘26, Merrell 1TRL introduces ‘Coastal Currents’, a visual series shaped by the restless edge of coastlines, where colour and texture transform in sync with nature.
At the centre of this piece, led by French artist Charles Auguste, is 1TRL’s Agility Peak 6, presented in three tortoiseshell configurations. Shot between the coastline and Marseille’s Parc Sévigné, the editorial follows Auguste as he moves from city to sea, accompanied by the Agility Peak 6, which is captured in motion adapting to its surroundings: gripping, landing, pivoting, and maintaining pace.
First introduced earlier this year, the Agility Peak 6 is the culmination of Merrell 1TRL’s trail expertise, outdoor functionality, and urban styling. Engineered mesh and unique tortoiseshell overlays deliver a premium, textured finish, while a forefoot rock plate shields against erratic terrain; a FloatPro midsole delivers excellent energy return; and FlexConnect technology maintains stability. Underfoot, a Vibram Megagrip outsole with specially developed traction lugs increases grip.
