Studio Nicholson and ASICS Announce the APAC-Exclusive GEL-KINETIC™ SP
After their debut collaboration in Spring/Summer ‘24, Studio Nicholson and ASICS return with the GEL-KINETIC™ SP, a silhouette that redefines the notion of a formal shoe by blending performance and refined craftsmanship.
Building on their debut, the APAC-exclusive silhouette pairs a premium nubuck leather upper with ASICS' advanced tooling, resulting in a hybrid sneaker that sits comfortably between formal and casual wardrobes. Available in dark brown and black, the shoe features a symmetrical zip-up gusset closure that conceals branding beneath a clean exterior, alongside a bespoke zip pull finished with a nubuck leather knot.
Refinement continues through the upper, where minimal stitching, perforated toe-box detailing, smooth leather side panels, and subtle whip-stitching at the heel allow the shape and materials to take centre stage. Underfoot, FF BLAST™ foam and SCUTOID GEL™ technology provide cushioning and stability, creating a silhouette that balances considered design with everyday comfort.
Release Details:
When? Friday, the 12th of June in South Korea, followed by a later release across China and Japan in mid-July.
Where? A pop-up in BEAKER Seongsu and SSF’s online store.
