Khakis offers its take on Merrell 1TRL’s Moab 3 in the pair's ‘Old Faithful’ capsule, focusing on the traces and textures that time leaves on objects.
Based on Merrell 1TRL’s Moab 3 silhouette, a shoe rooted in trail performance and outdoor DNA, Khakis combines layers of polyester mesh, rubber, and nubuck to create texture and dimension. Wax finishing and stain washing capture a natural patina only achieved through intense wear, here replicated artificially and capturing the essence of ‘Old Faithful’. The structure of the Moab 3 remains largely unchanged, with its signature silhouette defined by speckled laces, a Vibram outsole unit, updated Super Rebound Compound midsole, and Merrell air cushioning in the heel for stability and comfort. The colourway is defined by worn sand hues and blue accents.
