Engineered Garments Reworks Danner's Mountain Trail
Adding to its roster of Spring footwear collaborations, Engineered Garments taps Danner to rework its outdoor-ready Mountain Trail boot.
Whether it’s Dr Martens, HOKA, SUICOKE, or Paraboot, Engineered Garments applies its signature eccentric touch to each project, and this Danner collaboration is no different. The Mountain Trail retains many of its functional, trail-ready features, like the Vibram Sierra outsole, originally developed for the military, and the high collar, until Engineered Garments adds a few tweaks, such as arranging the lacing structure in a zigzag pattern and adding extra D-rings. Collaborative callouts are limited to a co-branded insole, allowing the exterior to speak for itself. The Mountain Trail is available in three options: black smooth leather, tan suede, and leopard-print calf hair.
