Village PM Introduces the 1PM MID for Spring/Summer '26
Just over a year after Village PM’s breakout debut, the Spring/Summer ’26 rollout marks a shift from grassroots European beginnings to a globally recognised presence, expanding into Canada and Japan and adding Tier-0 retailers such as BEAMS, DSM Ginza, and PROV.
Doing away with tradition, Village PM applies a mindset informed by skateboarding culture's rebellion: rethinking function, evolving shapes, and refusing to rely on what already exists. The offering remains concise, preferring a less-is-more approach, spearheaded by the new 1PM MID: a mid-top evolution of Village PM’s seminal 1PM silhouette. Its padded mid-top collar is cut low at the back for easy entry and curves up towards the front for mobility and protection where you need it. Much like the 1PM and 1:30PM, the 1PM MID features Rubber Glove Technology™ and Village PM’s signature Asymmetrical Precision Fit™. As for the existing styles, the 1:30PM is a marginally more entry-level option, with lacing that stops short of the rubber rand and the absence of heel pulls, further distancing it from its genus point than its sister model, the 1PM. Asymmetric shaping, signature hand-wrapped rubber rand, reinforced toe protection, pliable structures, smooth rubber outsoles, heel pulls, extended lace systems, and down-turned shapes are considered with ergonomics and protection in mind, and become defining features of the brand’s Spring/Summer ‘26 collection.
