Mountain Research Spring/Summer '26 is Releasing Now
For Spring/Summer ‘26, Setsumasa Kobayashi’s namesake Mountain Research offers its spirited take on outdoor uniforms, breaking stereotypes and expectations.
Titled ‘Clockwork Cottage’, the collection is designed to handle warm weather, with modular principles, lighter fabrics, and ventilation applied to the pieces. The outerwear category includes the MT Cruiser Parka, ID Vest, Merino Coach Shirt, Splatrail Parka, and Poncho, among others. For colder days on the trail, the Octa Hoodie and Pants are made from ultra-lightweight, sweat-wicking polyester fleece - essentially a lighter version of the MT Sweat Hoodie built for Spring/Summer. Moving to legwear, the Doogie Cargo Trousers, Waders, A11 Pant, with ventilated zippers for increased air-flow, and the ID Doogie, a belted, wider trouser. Accessories round out the collection, including the Bangle, Lanyard, and Neckwarmer, which accompany the apparel.
