Manchester-Based Label Gander Pays Homage to the Cities Industrial Heritage for AW25

A short two years after it launched, Gander has revealed its Autumn/Winter ‘25 collection, another chapter in the Manchester-based label's story.

Throwing itself further into the world of contemporary wear, an evolution on its debut in 2023, Autumn/Winter ‘25 is a clear step-up visually and physically, with Gander adopting more universal textiles and integrating natural fibres such as wool and cotton into cornerstone silhouettes. In addition to the natural evolution of the Dean Shirt, the two-part Stevenson Smock and Pant set, the Castle Duel jacket with its winterised update, we are introduced to the all-new Cottonopolis Jacket and Pant set, Pennine Shirt and Pant set, and the Togo Beanie. Deriving inspiration from old-school workwear styles, the Cottonopolis Jacket references Manchester’s rich history within the cotton and wool industry through its materiality and nomenclature. Additionally, the Pennine Shirt, nodding to the uplands of Northern England, has a slightly shorter, cropped fit with a bellowed chest pocket. Rounding off the newness is the Togo Beanie, with a modern interpretation of a medieval-esque headwear style.
