Poliquant Autumn/Winter '25
The Japanese label Poliquant has unveiled its Autumn/Winter ‘25 lookbook as the collection is released from retailers like Digital Mountain.
In true form, a series of function-driven outerwear, bottoms, and accessories emerge from Poliquant’s Autumn/Winter ‘25 collection, referencing technical military and outdoor garments with nuance. On the whole, bottoms are constructed using lightweight synthetic materials, featuring easy-to-access pockets and drawcords in unconventional places, allowing the wearer to alter the form of the trousers. Arguably the defining feature, outerwear is Poliquant’s speciality, arriving here with technical fabrications, spacious pockets referencing hunting attire, laminated zippers for increased durability, and Velcro patches, a nod to its militaristic inspirations. Utility vests, long silhouetted coats, quilted down jackets, and technical shell jackets all embody these features. To combat inclement weather, Poliquant uses Pertex for superior waterproofing, and it has collaborated with Taion to utilise its pinnacle down products, providing warmth through down jackets and hats. The result is a collection mirroring otherworldly space-like uniforms reappropriated for use in urban and outdoor settings.
