UNDERCOVER and WTAPS Honour Akira Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai' in Collaborative Capsule
No strangers to the power of collaboration, UNDERCOVER and WTAPS, pioneering forces of the Japanese streetwear scene in the 90s, have reconvened on a capsule honouring Akira Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai'.
For this collaboration, Jun Takahashi and Tesu Nishiyama have created a line of graphic t-shirts depicting scenes from the 1954 cult classic, Seven Samurai, using methods like screen printing, jacquard, and illustrations. In addition, caps, shorts, short-sleeved shirts, gym bags, and storage boxes have been delivered, bearing collaborative WTAPS and UNDERCOVER script and iconography.
