While half the beauty is in the design, the Japanese label ensures it is fully captured throughout the collection, offering a dreamy, film-like campaign, shot in rural Japan. Leaning into the natural lighting, it reinforces the authenticity of the garments, capturing their transcience in everyday settings as models seamlessly go through the motions. Sitting at a bus stop or walking to work. It’s these natural moments and the people that define them that KAPTAIN SUNSHINE looks to for inspiration. Long coats, flowy trousers, oversized shirts reflect the relaxed attitude of everyday people. Resulting garments are elevated to suit the brand’s dialogue, but the inspiration remains the same. Knitwear, outerwear, shirting, and trousers seek to provide a uniform for the upcoming season.
