Amidst the furore of Paris Fashion Week, ssstein’s Spring/Summer ‘26 collection stands out as an exploration of unisex clothing archetypes.

Time and time again, ssstein proves itself to be one of those labels that consistently pulls out all the stops. In contrast to other brands that might reinvent themselves from one season to the next, Kiichiro Asakawa’s label focuses on "the pleasant balance of the colour palette," and how familiar silhouettes can be enhanced using colour and material.

Throughout, we are treated to gentle colour combinations, such as pale mint green and cream yellow, warm brown and poppy red, while a familiar palette of soft brown and sandy hues remains. Aside from colour, material is of the utmost importance, with ssstein enhancing silhouettes using supple leather and brushed knitted materials, wrapping these materials around outerwear and jumpers alike. On the whole, Spring/Summer ‘26 is defined by the usual suspects of outerwear, legwear, knitwear, tops, shirting, and leather goods, with highlights coming by the way of wide pleated pants, gentle v-neck sweaters, signature belted trench coats, double-breasted jackets, and more. Garments are delivered in structured yet soft forms, providing a striking balance that err’s on a casual and smart front.
