New Balance Tokyo Design Studio Announces the Release of the MT10Tv1
The experimental arm of New Balance, known as its Tokyo Design Studio, has been responsible for collaborations with Snow Peak on modular footwear concepts and, more recently, reimagined performance footwear.
Releasing today, the MT10Tv1 is the latest release from the Japanese division of the Bostonian brand, marking the newest evolution of the Minimus series - a line of lightweight and agile footwear. The New Balance MT10 is a minimalist trail running shoe designed to deliver a barefoot-like experience while offering protection and traction suitable for off-road running. Here, it has been updated by Tokyo Design Studio with a refined silhouette devoid of laces, upgraded materials, and new colourways. Still, it retains its minimal cushioning for maximum ground feel, encouraging the foot to move naturally. The MT10Tv1 is fitted with a Vibram outsole featuring rounded lugs.
