thisisneverthat® Presents its Take on New Balance's Made in UK 991v2
Following their debut match-up on the ‘1000’, thisisneverthat and New Balance come back for Spring/Summer ‘25 with a take on the Made in UK 991v2.
A stalwart of the Bostonian label, first introduced in 2001 and bearing that all-important ‘Made in UK’ seal of approval denoting its expert finish, the 991v2 has seen many collaborators grace its uppers in the past, with Korean label thisisneverthat® being its latest. Hugged by a myriad of green-grey colours, the upper is crafted from a blend of premium pigskin suede, breathable mesh, and leather overlays. As expected, the midsole of the shoe is infused with New Balance’s proprietary FuelCell foam and ABZORB SBS technology for improved comfort. To achieve its Made in UK status, the 991v2 is assembled in New Balance’s Flimby factory, located in the north of England, known for its exceptional level of craftsmanship.
