The North Face Standard Assembles an Outerwear Capsule for Winter

The North Face Standard has assembled a winter-ready outerwear capsule, consisting of three silhouettes: the GORE-TEX Fishtail Coat, Convertible Quilting Jacket, and GORE-TEX Compact Anorak.

Designed with functionality in mind, The North Face Standard leans on archetypal military silhouettes, enamoured by their beauty and inherent purpose. Unnecessary styling elements are removed, leaving only what is necessary for optimum performance in cold and wet weather. The Fishtail Coat is based on an M65 parka, constructed using a 3-layer waterproof and breathable material, with interior seam taping for increased weatherproofing. An interior zip-in system allows compatible styles to be connected together, such as an insulating layer and a waterproof coat. Next, the Convertible Quilting Jacket is defined by its removable sleeves, allowing the wearer to control their temperature in transit. Rounding off the capsule is the GORE-TEX Compact Anorak, a GORE-TEX-clad raincoat that can be easily deployed immediately to respond to changing conditions. Each style arrives in a choice of two colours: Black and New Taupe.
