Baracuta Taps N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE to Remaster Two of its Iconic Style
N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE and Baracuta unveil their debut capsule collection, focusing on renewed British outerwear staples, namely the iconic G9 jacket and an original shirt.
Guided by designer Daisuke Obana’s philosophy of deconstruction and reassembly to create new values, the N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE line continues its exploration of contemporary formalwear. For the capsule, Obana has crafted a reversible version of Baracuta’s G9 jacket, a piece originally engineered for golfers and heralded for its windproof and waterproof qualities; now, it is an iconic piece of British outerwear. The length has been shortened to give a cropped silhouette, and the neckline has been widened, elevating this beyond just a piece of golf attire. On one side, the jackets feature a solid block colour - Navy, Tan, or Onion - and on the other is Baracut’s signature check. Rounding off the capsule is a shirt following the structure of the G4, with features elevating beyond a shirt to more of a jacket, such as side seam pockets and a central zipper opening. It is built using an original check pattern based on Baracuta’s signature, adjusted for scaling.
