KEEN and Engineered Garments Release Two Exclusive Versions of the WK400 Model

KEEN and Engineered Garments Release Two Exclusive Versions of the WK400 Model

Long-time partners KEEN and Engineered Garments have updated one of Daiki Suzuki’s favourite models in their latest project: the WK400.

Originally, Daiki Suzuki spawned the idea of using this model through personal experience, walking around Manhattan in the WK400 and wanting to be able to walk safely in the dark. Naturally, as designers tend to do, Suzuki tinkered with the WK400 and added reflectors to the upper to increase the model’s visibility in low light. From this, KEEN wanted to run with it for their next partnership, now producing two versions of the WK400 that are inspired by New York’s city skyline. The collaborative styles feature built-in reflective designs, with one made up of contrasting grey fabrics and the other featuring a pattern that is reminiscent of the skyline that Suzuki now calls home: New York. For added comfort and increased protection, the WK400 uses KEEN’s ‘CURVE’ propulsion technology, which lends a unique and slightly curved appearance to the shoe.
