MIZUNO and nonnative Preview the "WAVE MUJIN TL MID GTX"
For Winter ‘23, MIZUNO and nonnative revisit the "WAVE MUJIN TL MID GTX" and realise the popular silhouette in an all-black colourway.
The "WAVE MUJIN TL MID GTX" is a footwear style that took four years of product development to ensure it was ready for the open market. Now, though, nonnative has come on board for the second time this year to put its spin on it, originally helping to produce a ‘Vintage Khaki’ colourway.
Inspired by the design of military boots, it features a built-in knitted GORE-TEX boot-like construction that hugs the foot and offers practical design without compromising on the elegant aesthetic of the shoe. In contrast, the upper is paired with a rugged, yet highly functional, Michelin rubber outsole with a series of deep lugs for added traction across varying terrains. While the silhouette maintains MIZUNO’s technical capabilities, nonnative has used the "WAVE MUJIN TL MID GTX" as a platform of expression, using a number of its hallmark design touches like changing the colour grading of the materials and using suede and knit.
