NTN Spring/Summer '23
Headed up by Nobuaki Takahashi, previously a designer at sacai, NTN will debut its Spring/Summer ‘23 as a reflection of Takahashi’s personal vision.
Leaning on the designer’s skillset when it comes to pattern-cutting, NTN, much like sacai, is not afraid to subvert our notions of what a garment should and shouldn’t look like, as seen with some of the pieces adopting cropped silhouettes, overlapping panels or elongated sleeves. By looking at the Spring/Summer ‘23 lookbook, NTN’s ambitions seem to be centred around developing a functional uniform that draws upon various cultures from around the world and not limiting itself to just one. Utilising industry-leading technical fabrics from Japan, NTN’s wardrobe accounts for the unpredictability that comes with the weather and ensures that is paramount through the design. The range itself consists of staples such as shirting, outerwear, bottoms and shorts which have all been curated through the brands vision.
Unfortunately, for now, there isn’t a confirmed release date. In the meantime, take a look at NTN’s Spring/Summer ‘23 lookbook below.
