MOUNTAIN RESEARCH x BALLISTICS 'Field Chair'
The Japanese label, MOUNTAIN RESEARCH, previously General Research, has joined forces with BALLISTICS to fuse their DNA into the ‘Field Chair’.
Most camping excursions require a foldable chair of some degree which is where this collaborative product from both BALLISTICS and MOUNTAIN RESEARCH comes into question. The pair has reproduced the iconic British field chair which is said to have first been introduced nearly 80 years ago. Made from a lightweight aluminium frame with an elastic canvas sheet, it features ‘Anarcho Mountaineers’ script on the surface of the seat and a wreath print on the backrest indicative of both brands. What makes the Field Chair easy to transport is its lightweight nature and simplicity of which it can be disassembled and carried. There are two colourways to choose from, one with a silver frame and the other with olive.
