Function-Focused Outerwear from ZUCCa Autumn/Winter '21-22
For Autumn/Winter ‘21-22, ZUCCa has released a handful of different outerwear styles that incorporate down insulation by ALLIED FEATHER & DOWN®︎.
In an attempt to maximise the wearer’s protection against the elements, ZUCCa has developed three outerwear silhouettes - Shirt Jacket, Vest and Down Jacket - that are insulated using down by ALLIED FEATHER & DOWN®︎, a California-based brand. Putting a sustainable twist on production, the outer material of each garment is made using an ultra-lightweight nylon taffeta fabric that is partly comprised of organic biomass derived from plants. To add an element of durability, the exterior has a light water repellent finish. As previously mentioned, each piece is insulated using a blend of 90% down/10% feather sourced from ALLIED FEATHER & DOWN®︎ which provides exceptional heat retention and temperature control.
The Shirt Jacket and Vest take on fairly utilitarian cuts allowing for versatile wear on a day-to-day basis without a compromise on functionality. The Down Jacket, for example, adopts an oversized silhouette with ribbed detailing around the neck and the arms and can be easily adjusted using the drawcord on the hem and velcro on the cuffs. Each style is available in either Dark Brown or Black.
