Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 993 Model for Autumn/Winter '21
With two suspected New Balance collaborations first teased in Aimé Leon Dore’s AW ‘21 lookbook, it was only a matter of time before they both were available to the public; the first of which was the re-release of the collaborative New Balance 550. Now, the pair will be releasing two interpretations of the iconic 993 model.
Inspired by the gritty nature of New York City, from the subway to graffiti culture, the duo has designed a 993 that channels just that. Cosmetic updates to the model begin with a mesh base and feature a contrasting, yet complimentary, premium suede overlay with the addition of an N logo on the sidewall. ABZORB cushioning provides a plush ride while the blacked-out Ndurance outsole acts as a tonal platform for the shoe to rest on. There are two colourways to choose from: Green/Brown or White/Blue. Alongside the 993 is a range of collaborative apparel.
The 993 will be exclusively available online and in-store from Aimé Leon Dore on the 12th of November.
