CAL O LINE Autumn/Winter '20

CAL O LINE Autumn/Winter '20

Launched during the Autumn/Winter ´15 season by Toshiharu Kaneko, CAL O LINE is a young, burgeoning label hailing from Japan. For their Autumn/Winter ‘20 collection, Kaneko looks to familiar pillars of inspiration to inform the designs: work, military, outdoors and uniform wear.

CAL O LINE’s founder, Toshiharu Kaneko, is heavily inspired by vintage apparel and the style synonymous with the American ‘Golden Age’, and this is evident through each product; whether that’s fleece-lined parkas or cardigans. Their unique take on vintage Americana shines through in the light of a wholesome ensemble, including quilted military-style bottoms, fleece-lined parka jackets, fleece tops and two-tone cardigans, as well as a plethora of other items. The collection also dabbles in scarves, bottoms and a range of shirting options. In addition, an exclusive collaboration with NANGA - the renowned Japanese down manufacturer - sees the Classic Pinnacle Down Jacket II produced which is an old school outdoors silhouette that incorporates modern down technology and functional details - adjustability, secure cuffs and 2-phase button-closure.
