Veilance Celebrates Space Travel with Their 10 Year Anniversary Campaign
Year after year, technical outfit Veilance continues to break away from the Arc’teryx mold, pairing form with function for the better part of the last ten years. Celebrating its anniversary into the two digits, the imprint has recruited French photographer Vincent Fournier -- an expert with his finger on the pulse of high art itself -- to capture their latest campaign.
Shot right in Utah with product from both their AW19 and SS20 range, the collections shine under the light of a space travel theme, something quite important to long term partner GORE-TEX as well as the artist himself. Coinciding -- fortuitously and serendipitously -- with the Apollo 11 moon landing’s own celebration, the outdoors display is something of a love letter to aerospace and the “great adventure” only experienced through its interstellar expeditions. Garments, though not quite fit for the last frontier, are constructed to endure with fabrications leaving little to be desired; parkas, blousons, and matching pants of varying thickness and warmth create a monochrome suit built to “perform in any climate and environment.”
