UNITUS Spring/Summer '20
UNITUS’ latest take on everyday basics for the Spring/Summer ‘20 collection is anything but minimal, further establishing its motto of “Garment of Distinction.”
The seemingly basic garments are made unique through the use of patterns, materials, and silhouette. An overarching theme throughout is the draped, oversized fit of the tops, emphasizing the comfortable nature of the Spring-ready pieces. Monotone black button-up shirts stand out with white contrast stitching on the chest pockets while other styles features oversized panel details or large cargo pockets. Stripes and plaid patterns are reminiscent of tartan patterns, especially when placed onto knee-length parkas and hooded coats. Also taking a page from workswear, UNITUS incorporates drawstrings in anoraks and trousers, providing functionality and versatility to achieve a desired form.
