The somewhat serious undertones of White Mountaineering’s technical outfit take a much needed break for their latest SS20 range, breathing tropical air into the garments so gracefully trailing down the concrete-laden runway.
Durability and weather-resistance are still quite par for the course here as many a fine-tuned jacket restores the moisture-wicking fabrications used with dedication from season to season. Seeing its way onto the simplistic and the loudly designed, these many hard shell molds push and pull into the forms of three-quarter sleeve overcoats, multi-pocket parkas, and much more. While assumed to be of a versatility akin to its utility, these enduring garbs surprise as they create a net that catches all patterns from blank and color blocked to saturated plaids and even Summer-ready florals. Basic tees take on motifs of all sorts — with contrasting sleeves adding in notes more playful — with an array of shirting do the same in unison with the equally expansive trouser inventory.
