The North Face x HYKE Spring/Summer '19

The North Face x HYKE Spring/Summer '19

First showcased on the runway a few months ago, the TNF and HYKE duo have officially revealed their full forthcoming collaborative capsule, with a surprise men’s line accompanying the usual women’s only affair. Continuing much of what the labels have so masterfully achieved, SS19 is a melting pot of previous ideas fine-tuned for something that is all-encompassing.

Unisex in their overall approach, a few pieces arrives in both male and female sizing, allowing for almost all to access the beautifully monochrome-dressed pieces. Styles fitting of The North Face’s maineline, like the GTX Mountain and Military Coat are found here suped-up with an elongated kit, adorned with dangling straps along both the wrist and zipper pull for some extra visual flair. A Slanting Poncho completely obscures one’s silhouette with an enlarged logo lockup imprinting itself along the middle of the chest, which can be found on the capsule’s series of graphic tops. The WP Bolero, though unfortunately tailored exclusively for the original female audience, modifies a traditional rain parka with an overstated opening along the entire chest, pairing perfectly with any of the aforementioned basics. Wrap and pleated skirts, arm covers, neck gaiters, a GORE-TEX Cap, knit sneakers, and even a camping-ready Geodome finish off the pairing’s most expansive capsule yet.

Be sure not to miss out on the full set of imagery below, and stay tuned to thenorthfacehyke.jp for more details on the release.
