SAN SAN GEAR Opens New Flagship Store in Hannam, Seoul
Following its Hapjeong location, Seoul-based label SAN SAN GEAR expands its world with a second flagship store in Hannam, shaped around duality.
Set within a former private residence, the space retains elements of the original architecture while introducing scenes drawn from public environments. A large circular structure blurs the boundary between the house and courtyard on the first floor, while platforms, stages and runway-like elements create shifting levels of density upstairs. Designed by Tokyo-based design studio DAIKEI MILLS for its first project in Korea, the store explores the coexistence of street style and utility, the balance between functionality and design, and variations in silhouette and texture, translating these ideas into a sensory and architectural experience.
