SEDAN ALL-PURPOSE and Dickies Take Cues from Archival Workwear for FW26
SEDAN ALL-PURPOSE has partnered with Dickies to reinterpret the Frisco Jean, drawing on a workwear silhouette said to have originated among San Francisco dockworkers during the 1920s.
Moving away from Dickies’ more familiar shapes, the collaborative trousers feature a wide fit that runs cleanly through the hem alongside the style’s distinctive L-shaped front pockets. Additional seam pockets have been introduced at both sides, adding everyday practicality without disrupting the original design. Dickies typically rigid T/C twill is replaced by a softer 65/35 polyester-cotton fabric with a more relaxed handle, allowing the trousers to retain their generous shape without creating unnecessary volume. The Frisco Jeans arrive in Khaki, Dark Brown, and Black, and are finished with familiar Dickies branding at the rear.
