Engineered Garments Spring/Summer '27

For Spring/Summer ‘27, Engineered Garments goes back to the bold, daring aesthetic that defined the brand’s origins.

Daiki Suzuki’s label continues to blend vintage workwear, military, and outdoor references through silhouette, proportion, and materiality, with a new-age, bohemian colour palette. Light tailoring and shirting are reinterpreted through loud Madras fabrics and floral-like prints, reflecting the spirit of Spring/Summer and its warmer, longer days. In contrast, a traditional chambray is used across several key pieces, such as crossbody bags, pullovers, and longer coats; satin nylon achieves a classic look on flight jackets; and twill is incorporated for its feel and finish on trousers and utility vests. Going one step further, to achieve greater character on select pieces, an iridescent material offers sheen and an aged cloth promises patina without excessive wear. In early 2027, we will begin to learn more about the footwear collaborations for the upcoming season. But, from the lookbook alone, we can expect to see New Balance and Vans projects, plus more.
