Song for the Mute and adidas Originals Preview their Seventh Collaboration
adidas and Song for the Mute are set to return on Friday with their seventh collaboration, detailing apparel and footwear - namely the 007 Samba LX Freizeit and Tokyo W.
By now, we are well accustomed to Song for the Mute and adidas’ work: inline silhouettes revisited through the Australian label’s distinct texture-driven lens and original apparel styles to complement. Titled ‘007’, the latest instalment pulls on the 007 Samba LX Freizeit, a classic school shoe silhouette finished in premium leather uppers and arriving in Black or Aurora Coffee, and the Tokyo W, a low-profile shoe originally introduced as lightweight runners for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, rendered in a synthetic upper with hits of distressed suede on the eyestays and T-toe, with an outsole to match. Joining the footwear is a range of co-designed apparel, including rugby polos, track jackets, shorts, and t-shirts.

When? Friday, the 8th of May, followed by a wider general release on Friday, the 15th of May.
