BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS and Vans Reveal a Two-Pair Capsule
Following the duo’s past efforts, BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS and Vans focus on the Half Cab and Authentic models for their latest collaboration.
Inspired by pairs customised by Masafumi Watanabe, the director of BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS, during his teenage years, and the brand’s love for West Coast culture, the Authentic and Half Cab feature a signature bandana graphic. By paying close attention to detail and craftsmanship, each pair is unique, cutting the bandana's seams to create a pattern specific to each pair. In the past, the pair have featured a variety of colourways, but here, they hone in on navy, combining a deep hue reminiscent of indigo with a matching bandana motif to create a simple, yet striking finish. The Authentic and Half Cap retain many of their signature details, from the signature vulcanised soles to the lace shape.
Release Details:
When? Pre-release is on Wednesday, followed by a general release on Saturday, the 11th of April.
