BEAMS Reimagines the Functionality and Styling of Clarks Originals' Wallabee
Clarks Originals Wallabee silhouette is a revolving door for collaborators to leave their mark on, with BEAMS entering the picture - again - to celebrate its 50th anniversary, using the shoe as a platform.
Reimagined through BEAMS’ signature lens, the Wallabee undergoes a structural rework, turning into a loafer aptly named the ‘WallaBeams Loafer’, with integrated GORE-TEX technology and a Vibram outsole underfoot - two functionalities applied to previous offerings by the duo. Uppers made from leather follow traditional loafer styling, while the inherent characteristics of the Wallabee are kept intact: the midsole volume, the upper shape, and moccasin stitching. For enhanced weatherproofing, the WallaBeams loafer is protected by GORE-TEX technology, and a Vibram outsole increases grip in poor conditions. The shoe arrives in black.
