Graphpaper Opens its Largest Store to Date in Osaka
Graphpaper expands its retail presence across Japan, opening its largest store to date in Osaka.
The store is built around a large black structure that spans the first through third floors - positioned at the centre of the space, with interior fixtures and rooms built around it. Housed inside a former bank, the design retains several of its key features - such as a vault, now housing Graphpaper apparel and reading material - preserving the building's history through structure and texture, and minimising interruption. On the second floor, the Copenhagen-based design studio FRAMA is set in a wood-clad corner, displaying furniture and fragrances, alongside Graphpaper’s womenswear line on the other side of the room. The facade is largely brutalist and industrial, mixing concrete, glass, and cladding for a grandiose feel.
To celebrate the opening, Graphpaper Osaka is offering several in-store exclusive items, alongside in-line products and collaborations.
