thisisneverthat® Tags GORE-TEX on 'Downtown Gear' Collection
Following on from their last project, thisisneverthat® and GORE-TEX come together for the ‘Downtown Gear’ capsule, unveiling a range of functional apparel that can withstand rain and wind.
The collective design language grows this season as the duo builds the collection around vintage sportswear and outdoor silhouettes, a symbol of the Korean label, using GORE-TEX technologies. Consisting of outerwear and trousers, the core of the capsule centres on a GORE-TEX 2-Layer Anorak Set and a WINDSTOPPER Utility Jacket set, inspired by workwear styling where the functionality is hidden and only felt when the wind picks up. Additionally, a 3L Shell Jacket with Grateful Dead patches, a collaborator of thisisneverthat; a checked shirt with integrated WINDSTOPPER; cargo-style trousers; lightweight ski trousers; and a cap join the capsule. Features and functionality of respective garments varies depending on whether you opt for the workwear or sportswear side of the collection, offering an insight into thisisneverthat®’s eclectic world.
