CAT Footwear introduces CATALYST, an evolving editorial project exploring how utility moves beyond the workplace and into the way people dress.
Built around the codes of workwear, protection, durability, movement, and adaptability, it explores how functional clothing becomes part of a broader cultural uniform. For its first chapter, London-based art director and photographer Graeme Gaughan returns to the industrial landscape behind the brand, placing CAT Footwear icons among concrete, machinery, aggregate and dust. Workwear and technical clothing meet contemporary styling, while familiar, function-driven designs take on a new context. Rather than separate the brand from its industrial roots, CATALYST uses them as the starting point for an ongoing conversation with fashion, performance and culture.
