ssstein Autumn/Winter '26
At a time when Fashion Week is defined by a myriad of designers and labels pushing the boundaries of visual and conceptual identity, ssstein maintains its stance: classic menswear and tailoring with a modern edge.
Headed up by the young Japanese designer, Kiichiro Asakawa, ssstein’s Autumn/Winter ‘26 collection reflects its perspective on menswear archetypes. Throughout the show, ssstein dressed its models in an abundance of carefully constructed layers, nodding to its signature aesthetic. Overcoats are the final part of the machine, with button-down shirts, knitwear, knitted roll-neck tops, and zip-ups sitting underneath. In contrast, ssstein treats legwear equally - an opportunity to emphasise volume and proportion. Wide, pleated wool trousers are joined by slim denim, relaxed corduroy, and flowy tailored pants. Balancing a pleasant colour palette, garments arrive in a cacophony of greys, browns, greens, and blacks, subtly contrasted by red where appropriate.
