Kallyu Launches its Debut Collection for Autumn/Winter '25

Headed by Kayuu Zhou, a graduate of Bunka Fashion Graduate University in Japan, a prestigious university that lists Nigo, Junya Watanabe, and Jun Takahashi as past alumni, Kallyu is launching its debut collection for Autumn/Winter ‘25.

The origins of the brand name, Kallyu, come from ‘Call You’, emphasising the perceptual relationship we share with our surroundings. Kallyu aims to capture clothes not as mere clothing, but as a “means to feel the world”. So, they integrate intriguing silhouettes with playful details and subtle functionality. For its debut season, previewed earlier this year in Paris, the location of the lookbook, Kallyu focuses on the concept of ‘listening’, an expression of both concrete and abstract. The ‘elephant ears’ motif extends this, a detachable and exaggerated collar design that reflects the season’s concept. Additionally, playing into another sensory field is the ‘feeling of breathing’, demonstrated through materiality, silhouettes, and structure, contributing to the overall seasonal concept. Applying this thinking to apparel, Kallyu proposes a range of outerwear, trousers, skirts, and shirting, designed for men and women.

Stay tuned for release details.
