SAN SAN Gear Autumn/Winter '25
SAN SAN Gear has released its Autumn/Winter ‘25 collection titled ‘Wayfinder’, focusing on the rituals and exploration of searching for the ‘meaning of life’, or direction.
As time wears on for the still young Korean label, each collection arrives with an imbued energy, offering silhouettes that actually feel new. This season, SAN SAN Gear presents a signature range of apparel consisting of outerwear, trousers, shirting, tops, sweats, knitwear, and accessories. There are many highlights throughout the categories, starting with outerwear, where fleece jackets feature asymmetric zippers, puffers are insulated with down for maximum warmth, and shell jackets are decorated with exterior seam taping, highlighting the unfiltered hidden functionality of weatherproof gear. The Trucker contrasts the technical landscape of Autumn/Winter, adhering to a shorter, workwear-inspired silhouette with laser-cut pockets and a clean button placket. Adhering to traditions, knitwear is constructed using a heavy cotton blend with a tight neck and slouchy shoulders, while laser-cut pockets provide a sharp balance and nod to the Korean brand’s toying between heritage and modernity. Legwear comes in many forms, with pleated wide trousers and darted pants sitting alongside lightweight trousers with snap closures and 3L taped pants. Character is achieved in the collection through over-dyed materials that offer a worn-in patina, irregularly placed zippers, raw finishing, and a cohesive colour palette.
