TOUJOURS Autumn/Winter '25 'Refined Roughness'

TOUJOURS Autumn/Winter '25 'Refined Roughness'

As we navigate from high summer into Autumn/Winter, the Japanese label TOUJOURS has come through with the tools to provide a seamless transition.

The brand, headed up by an ex-Journal Standard designer, Masaya Shimeno, and his team, continues to explore the theme of daily-wear, with its nomenclature translating to ‘Daily’ in French. Naturally, the label’s name is a testament to its ability to craft garments suitable for everyday wear, blending colour, texture, and shape. For Autumn/Winter ‘25, archetypal silhouettes are reinterpreted through this lens, resulting in a vast array of outerwear, knitwear, shirting, accessories, and trousers. Some of our highlights from this expansive offering include the Reversible Padded Utility Jacket, the Cashmere Cloth Evening Coat, the Fairisle Cardigan Vest, and the Shawl Jacket. Unique in their own right, the garments are united by a common thread: versatile clothing loosely inspired by casual-formal Ivy style. Natural materials take precedent, carefully chosen for their rich texture and expression, as well as their inherent comfort, from brushed hemp and worsted wool to silk and taw cotton cloth. Expectedly, the lookbook is styled with precision and care, as individual elements seamlessly interact with each other.
